  • Visit the Hungarian Parliament
An absolute must to take a free tour of the Parliament building – EU citizens can visit the Parliament and Crown Jewels free of charge, as long you can prove your citizenship.

  • Cross the Széchenyi Chain Bridge
One of the nicest bridges of Budapest, a masterpiece of Adam Clarke, who has fallen in love with a hungarian woman and moved to Budapest to create wonderful constructions for the city. Check out the tongues of the lions!

  • Climbe up to the Castle Hill
Marvellous landscape with hungarian historical memories, beautiful wiev to the city and on the top you will find the Royal Palace with its little gardens and walls to walk around.

  • Climbe up to the "Citadella"
Huge green park with lot of sculptures and on the top the hungarian Liberty Statue, of course not as big, as in New York, but breathtaking wiev to whole Budapest.

  • Cave Church
A unique grotto inside with a little chapel, nowadays open to the public, still works as church as well.

  • Margaret Island
Just to stroll around or have a nap under the big trees inside of its park, watching joggers run by, have a sunbath alongside the river.........

  • Admire Heroes' Square
Best time in the evening with the beautiful lights aroundby, in the middle you can see the first hungarians riding into the Carpathian basin, have a look on their clothes to have an idea about the old traditional  equipment.

  • Wander in Vajdahunyad Castle
If you are here just have a visit in the background, once upon time a moorland for hunting, which has been started to be drained by Maria Theresia, the Castle is an exact copy of the one in Transylvania, the little Chruch of the one in Ják. You can have a sunbath infront of the castle.

  • Jewish Quarter
Here you can find the biggest synagogue, kosher restarurants, caffes........and various kind of cakes and cookies.
