The actual building was bought in 1884 by the Metropolitan Casino Company, the Teréz Town Casino had a vaulted hall on the ground floor, accommodating József Petanovics's famous beer hall and restaurant.The firstfloor fitted billiards room, the wings for Paulay Ede street housed the glamorous ball room, which is visible still today.The second room housed raeding areasand game rooms,on the third floor there were two luxurious suites.Sámuel Goldberger purchased the real estate in 1909 and promptly started rebuilding: he wished to resurrect the Great Parisian Department Store, which he owned earlier and lost during a fire. | The Lotz Hall offer todays excellent and not expensive cookies, and in the whole building you can buy again books. |
